The club is a pop up venue based in London held at a secret location on the 16th & 17th of December. The 1920's based cocktail bar, recreates the Jazz era and is completely lit by candles.

guest mixologists, live music and vintage vinyalism from the resident DJ.

If your thinking of an alternative night out this New Years Eve then The Secret Cinema is just for you. In a secret location, secret theme and secret acts, to be announced on the night, this is the most hush hush night in London. There is the promise of live music, DJ's, hundreds of actors recreating a film, food stalls and impressive decorations.

Since 1991 Dazed & Confused has been one of the top magazines for all fashion lovers. It was launched by Jefferson Hack and renowned photographer Rankin. Now after 20years of amazing issues they are collaberating with Somerset House for an exhibition.

Until the 29th January, the exhibition Making It Up As We Go Along, will be showcasing the magazines most infamous visual stories, featuring legendary icon covers, photoshoots and special designs by Vivienne Westood and Alexander Mcqueen. Deffinitly not something you will want to miss out on, best of all its free!

Launching this Friday is Londons only outdoor evening food market. The longtable has to offer some of the best foods in London to sit, eat and drink with complete strangers. As well as this there will be outdoor fires, live music and a fully stocked bar to keep you going all night long.

The market will take place every Friday from the 25th November until christmas 6pm until 1 am. So head down to the Abott car park Dalston, East London and get involved.

Blink @ Long White Cloud

'Light striking the retina burns an image to the viewer's mind. Light striking film captures an image. A human can blink and miss it, a camera can blink and capture a delicate moment forever. It is the artist's eye we showcase 'Blink,' a group exhibition.

From 6pm on Thursday the 3rd of November, 'Blink' comes to the Long White Cloud. As part of the annual East London Photo-month, a wide range of photography will be on display from the 4th of November to the 5th of December. Come to the private view, your chance to be a cut above the rest.'

If you’re a fan of teen fashion blogger Tavi, then you’ll love her newest venture, Rookie Mag. Rookie is the website that we all wish had been around when we were teenagers- frank, funny, honest, and with quirky fashion tips aplenty, Rookie is updated three times a day: ‘After School’, ‘Dinner Time’ and ‘Sweet Dreams’ (ie. late at night when you should be asleep…). It makes for an incredibly refreshing read, as the contributors KNOW what they’re talking about- in other words, it’s written by teenagers for teenagers, and it shows. Of course, being edited by Tavi herself means that there are also some more well-known guest contributors/interviewees- think Carrie Brownstein and Ali Koehler- to add to the overall girl-power vibe. I may no longer be a teenager, but as anyone who’s read Tavi’s blog will know, her style, eloquency, wit and maturity means Rookie is a great read for absolutely anyone.

Brick Lane at the weekend is always buzzing, but this weekend more so than ever- perhaps it had something to do with the fact that it was the last opportunity to catch the Nirvana: Nevermind exhibition at the Old Loading Bay Gallery. Being life-long fans of the band, we had to check it out; and it didn’t disappoint. From rare photographs, to one of Dave Grohl’s drum kits, to a hoodie Kurt Cobain wore on a photo-shoot, to footage of one of their London gigs, it was a perfect retrospective of Nirvana’s work and the impact they had on the music industry.

East London never fails to provide us with lovely locations- today we shot down by the canal, inside OML favourite Hurwundeki, by the Museum of Childhood and outside The Hare pub. Afterwards we chilled out back at the studio with cake and wine; perfect end to a long day's work!

Fashion Week Fever

On Friday we headed to the Krystof Strozyna S/S 2012 catwalk show @ The Freemason's Hall. We loved the mix of pastels and brights, and the contrast between the silky fabrics and edgy power heels. The bouffant hair, left long and swishy, was a subtle nod to the 1960s, while the barely-there make up and lack of accessories meant that the clothes did all the talking. We like!

Last night we attended the launch of the new Flagship Beyond Retro store in Dalston; we watched La Shark play a set, drank raspberry Koppaberg and cans of Carlesberg and swooned at the beautiful vintage stock.
